The Name on the Back Game

Pokemon Birthday Party
You should write the name of various Pokemon characters (Ash, Pikachu, Chimchar, Piplup, Turtwig) on a sheet of sticky labels. Don’t let the children see the list. Have them come to you one at a time and face away from you so you can peel and stick one of the names on their back. When they are all labeled, let them ask each other yes-and-no questions such as “Am I a fire type?” or “Do I evolve?”. Prizes can be awarded for either the first child who got it right or each child gets a prize once they have guessed correctly who they are. You may hand out a Pokemon trading card as the prize.
Pin the Tail on Pikachu
You’ll need a poster-sized piece of paper to draw your own Pikachu, minus the lightning-bolt shaped tail. Cut out the tail shape from construction paper. You should put pieces of double-stick tape on the back of the tails. Then blindfold the children and spin them around a few times. After that have them try to pin the tail on Pikachu. The child, who gets closest, wins a Pokemon trading card.
Pokemon Card Walk
This is conducted the same way that a cake walk would be. You should put numbers on paper plates – one for each child at the party. Write each number on a strip of paper and fold them and put them in a bowl. Instruct each child to stand on a numbered plate. Start playing some music. Stop the music randomly and have every child stop on a plate. Then draw a number from the bowl and whoever is on that number wins a Pokemon card. You can also play an elimination game in which the number called means that play and child must sit out. Keep going until there is only one child left.
Pokemon present game
You’ll need a large Pokemon sport cup. Wrapp it in several layers of Pokemon wrapping paper. The children all should be sat in a circle. Each child took turns putting on a pair of my husband’s winter gloves and trying to open the present with the gloves on. Give each child 30 seconds.
Pokemon Trivia Game
During this game kids can play individually or be divided into 2 teams. The parent plays the part of emcee and asks the kids questions about Pokemon. Pokemon cards can be awarded at the end for most questions right, or for who gets each question right during the game.
Pokemon Themed Cake
Every birthday party should have an incredible birthday party cake.
A Pokeball is the easiest type of Pokemon cake. You should make a round cake and decorate it with red, white, and black frosting to look like a Pokeball. You can make individual Pokeballs for the children out of cupcakes.
Birthday Party Goody Bags
The goody bags can consist of a Pokemon key chain, 3-inch Pokemon sticker, mini Pokemon puzzle, Pokemon blowout and personalized Pokemon miniature candy.
