Freshly filled mylar balloons (the foil looking ones) will float for several days (sometimes weeks) and don’t require “high float”.

If you want to decorate your party with streamers, then you should keep in mind that you’ll need a lot of streamers to make an impact. Moreover, it takes time to put them up.
However if you have enough time, then you can decorate, for example, the doorways with the help of streamers. It’s also a great idea to make a canopy over the cake table by attaching streamers to the chandelier and twirl them down to the corners of the table.
