Ballerina Birthday Party
If your daughter is fond of dolls, ballet and fairy wands, a Ballerina birthday party is a great idea for her birthday party.
Invitations for Ballerina Birthday Party
You can purchase a dozen of invitations or you can simply make them yourself. For each invitation, fold an 11×17″ piece of cardstock or construction paper in fourths, accordion-style. Then draw the shape of a ballerina on the top fold. After that cut out the figure, keeping the fold intact in at least two places to connect the chain. Cut out small pieces of pink tulle for the “tutus”.
Glue a tulle tutu on the top shape, then unfold the invitation so you can glue tutus to the inside shapes. You should write party information on each one of the dolls.

Don’t forget to ask guests to dress in their best ballet attire and bring their favorite doll. You may also supply tutus for everyone. You can make tutus yourself. Measure your daughter’s waist, cut a piece of tulle twice as long. Then you should sew a casing along one long side. Run elastic thru and sew casing shut.
Hand sew ribbons hanging down from waist at different lengths. You can double the tulle and put flower petals in them for an extra bit of fun.
Ballerina Party Decorations
Ballerinas love pink, that is why a pink- and-white theme is great. You can make petite bouquets of pink and white flowers for each guest. Pink and white helium balloons with blue curling ribbon are a brilliant idea.
You can also decorate the party with pink tablecloths with white or pink tulle around the edges tied with ribbon and plastic flowers. Don’t forget about the sprinkle pink and silver confetti on the table. At each place setting set a tiara for the guests to wear while eating cake and ice cream.
Blow up lots of pink, white or silver balloons and scatter them all over the floor of the stage or room the girls will be dancing in – the floor should be completely covered.
